I saw this incredible hummingbird in San Javier, Baja, MX. It is indigenous to southern Baja, and it was one one my target birds. I found myself out behind the San Javier Mission standing on an old tipped over outhouse (I think it was a trash area) to get views of it when it flew directly at me and dropped almost at me feet to enjoy some penstemon. Breathtaking!
