One of the most memorable experiences during my stay at Craters was when I was standing above the lava chatting with a park visitor, she mentioned she'd seen a fox there the night before. As she pointed the spot out, there was a fox...again...and then another...and another...and another until there were six! This painting is of the kits and mom while dad sat just below in the grasses keeping an eye of us.
